Official announcement, (and my first giveaway!)
Hi! Remember the time I said I’d try to blog more often, and then stopped blogging entirely for over a month? Yeah, that was pretty mean of me, sorry about that.
But now I’m back! Well, sort of. And I have a little something for you! I’ll talk about it later in the post, which I hope makes up a little bit for my absence. :)
But first off, I feel that I should officially announce;
I have decided I can’t be a daily/frequent blogger anymore.
(Oh gee, as if you haven’t figured that out already 
)
But as part of the official announcement, I’m also here to state that,
I’m not closing the blog down! I’m not sure if I could EVER do that, quite frankly. I still need my space for my pictures, random rubbish and general sillyness. 
So I am NOT quitting blogging completely, just a whole lot less? :)
Before I explain further, I first want to express my newfound respect for bloggers out there who have demanding full-time jobs (and possibly various other side projects); and STILL manage to consistently produce frequent blogposts with great content for their readers.
It is HARD. I’ve tried, tested, and evidently, failed -_-
So go on and leave a nice comment / write a happymail to your favourite bloggers today. Even if you think they probably get these all the time and are immune to them, or that yours wouldn’t matter – Trust me. They do matter. :)
Ok back to my excuse very valid reason for blogging less. Actually, there’s two.
#1,
Over the years, I notice I’m becoming more and more of a private person.
Now, I know people say it’s impossible to think that a blogger who shares his/her life with the anonymous world, could EVER be a private person,
But just remember that WE control the amount of information we want the world to see!
And I’ve never been one to blog about things that are too personal anyway. And as time passes by, the amount of personal info I feel like sharing with the world seems to decrease with time.
But I think, more importantly,

Despite growing number of readers, and eventually agents, clients & advertorials,
I’ve always selfishly only wanted to blog for myself – to make *me* happy.
That is the only way I intended it to be, when I initially started blogging a good 5 years ago. I blog to make myself happy, and for no one else. And I’d like to think I have kept to that principle quite nicely over the years; even with advertorials, I try to write for clients & products that I only truly believe in – and I hope that all comes across.
And while I do still enjoy writing, blogging, and editing pictures (all of which takes up A LOT of time & effort – you’ll be surprised!)
Right now I have found a new passion – and pumping in all my time, effort & everything else that I have into that; makes me genuinely, and surprisingly, happy.
I have managed to turn that passion into my full-time job, and so now, here I am! 
So there it is, the reason why I can’t blog every other day anymore, not as active as I used to be, anyway.
Oh I am however, massively active on Twitter.

And for all you know, I might find myself having time to blog frequently again in the near future and this whole post would be a complete waste of time, HAHA!
But I dunno. Just some thoughts of mine I wanted to share with you now. :)
And surely I’d expect that my writing-less will cause a downturn in my traffic.
So to my readers who are indeed leaving, I dunno, I guess I’d like to say goodbye! And thanks, it’s been a pleasure having you as a slient audience.
And to readers who are staying to try keep up with my shenanigans, THANKS! And you’re awesome. And just because awesomeness deserves a reward…… (…and that im done sounding like an emo person),

July/Aug 2010 issue of Frankie (Issue #36)
Frankie is my all-time favourite magazine EVER in the history of FOREVER.
I found it when I was in Melbourne 2 years ago, and it quite literally changed my life in so many ways. And of course my perspective on how fashion magazines SHOULD be. Although it isn’t only about fashion; it’s about art, and music, and life, and everything.
Here’s what I wrote about Frankie back when I first found it 2 years ago!
A disclaimer note, I feel I should say that I am in no way endorsed by Frankie (pfft, I WISH!). The reason behind this giveaway is, you see,
I’ve been running all over KL & Singapore looking for Frankie and it is almost impossible to find one. TRUST ME, I’VE TRIED. They all come in extremely rare, limited numbers which apparently all sells out by the time I get to the bookstores -_-
So I’ve given up searching, and did what every other obsessed Frankie-addict would do. SUBSCRIBE ONLY LA TIU.
Subscribing + postage from Aus to Malaysia costs a bloody pretty penny, (retails at about RM30 in Australia, but my subscribed version is about RM50, oh geezus.) but that’s just how much I love Frankie.
So anyway anyway, as clearly shown in the picture, I currently have 2 issues of #36. My 1st one from the subscription,
My 2nd one from my dear friend Shaun, whom I specifically told to find me old back issues but he surprised me with the newest one -_- Silly silly dear ol’ Shaun.
So I’m giving ONE issue away to ONE person who leaves a comment in this post! (picked at random)

Glad that you’re back,been waiting and waiting for you to update and you finally showed up.
Have been following you for the past 2 years and I strongly hope that this is not gonna be your last post.
You have such good inspiring stories for your readers and it would be such a waste if you decide to completely shut this blog down.
You’ve gone a long way since back then and I think you must continue doing this.
Try remember the 1st ever reason why you started this blog in the first place.
I believe it means a world to you and also to some or maybe a lot of people affected by your writings.
If you decide to quit,I would lose one blog to hop into. ;)
Just remember,do things that you love doing and do it for your self, not for or because of others.
Looking forward to more and more updates from you soon!

hmm.. Frankie is available all over Singapore’s bookstore.. and I think it’s cheaper too, around SGD15? Can get it for you if you want since I’m in KL once a month.

You know I’ve been a reader since your CSC and Xanga days right? Can’t believe how time flies! As a blogger myself, I understand how you want to keep somethings personal and private. I don’t blame you. And surely, We’re all going to miss your daily blog posts filled with inspiring, fun, travel and fashionable adventure of yours! Just when I thought I could see your studion. I know how hard it is to have a full-time job, blog consistently and still maintain a social life :) but blogging helps me to remember stuff and it’s just great that I’m able to randomly read through my old archives and remember things :) Hope you don’t give up blogging totally ‘cos your blog has been an inspiration for me to keep on blogging as well…

past few weeks , i’ve been stalking your blog to see if there’s any updates then i think i viewed this post in a quick glance but never really have the time to read through everything cos my bos is around and surfing personal stuff during working hours is a death sentence lol
then finally today i get to read it today , a little late i think , look at all the comments above *gosh

but i adore your decision , your blog is really good i think you’re the only Malaysian writer that i really like to start off with , you’ve got style and excellent music taste
its good to read a good article or post , cause you can tell the difference with someone who writes once in a while and writes it from her heart
i don’t like bloggers who writes crap , i mean active blog but loadsa same old shit in their posts and over shared information about their pathetic lives which one one esp ME gives a F about
My point is even if you only write one post a year , i will still be your reader :)
