Turning 23 on the 23rd!
During the months and weeks leading up to my birthday, i kept thinking,
“Ok, must celebrate again this year! But hmm, what to do, what to do?”
I kept putting off planning my party til later, while i focus on work in the meantime (AOF’s been my sole focus for awhile now, you see)
but before i know it, HOMAIGOD my birthday’s next week! 
So i quickly rounded up the usual suspects, thinking,
“Oh no, plan so late, im sure a lot of people have plans already and can’t come” :(
But instead my friends went, “Cynthia’s birthday? I’ll definitely be there!”
and i went “Aww you guysss!” :D

Mama Buri is also in town for a couple of weeks!
So one day while i was working at David’s place, we were all talking and catching up, and he told her it was my birthday the next week.
“Oh your birthday! That’s good, we’ll have to celebrate together, ok? We’ll go for dinner!”
“Oh wow! Aww auntie that’s so sweet… umm, sure!” :D

Earlier that night, we went for Zee’s homecoming showcase @ KL Live.
Now usually whenever i go to KL Live, it’d be for some rockout concert, or for a crazy bangin’ party,
But this time the place was donned up with pretty fairy lights, and backdrop curtains; which is so different from what im used to seeing around this neck of the woods!
But i loved it :) and besides, kicking off my birthday celebration with Zee’s show was nothing short of spectacular.
Later, onto Boathouse for a night of what i hoped to be pretty chill-ish.
I even told my friends AND the bartender, that there should be no nonsense drinks like Graveyards or Flaming Lambo’s tonight!
Boy, was i wrong 
And the bartender is pure evil, i tell you.

Oh because there were no alcoholic beverages at Zee’s show.
Which is fine except; we’re all so not used to KL Live being alco-less! im not gonna say who was complaining nonstop *coughjeremycough*

So about this evil bartender, right.
First of all, Alda started the madness by ordering me one Flaming Lambo la, (cipet Alda!)
so i looked at the bartender like, “Duuude! We had a deal remember, no nonsense drinks like Flaming Lambo’s!”
And he’s like, “Aaaah c’mon it’s your birthday! Btw guys wanna buy her a 2nd Flaming after this?”
O___O WTFFF at least don’t *encourage* them!
Madness continued on to multiple shots of tequila *ackkk*

And then a 2ND Flaming came (courtesy of Kevin cipet) and the bartender’s like,
“Ok la one last one for you alright? So we make it a TURBO Lambourghini!”
And he poured insane amounts of toxic liquids into the bottom glass until it’s full (usually macam half-glass, kan?) and im staring at him like, “……TRAITOR”
Sigh. But it’s all good.
I just have to say, THANK GOD i appointed David as my tanker, otherwise superdie.
(Tanker = helper/substitute drinker when the tankee is at near-comatose state, ie. cannot make it anymore)

Then he gave me a glass of water & complimentary lime juice, which was damn yummy :)
But sure la, encourage ppl to make me drink, then dowan to clean up my sick afterwards right 
Thankfully, no unfortunate cases of projectile vomiting here! *shows off muscles*
Gotta rehydrate, yo!

And they gave me the most AWESOME presents ever. SERIOUSLY. Can cry.
But before i get into that, i’ll have to explain a short little story first, so i’ll do that in a separate post. This post is long enough already, lol ;p
And alot of people asked what present David got me, so that’s all in the next post aight. :)
So that pretty much sums up my birthday of 2010!
2009: I had a gourmet birthday meal by Capt’n Cool Chef
2008: Awesomest birthday bash at Eastin, with the bestest cake in the whole wide world!
2007: Chris made me trip & fall in public, and we later had a poolside birthday party!
Homaigod i had to go digging through my Xanga archives, super nostalgic 
Taking into consideration this year’s birthday, and looking back into previous years’,
it’s a nice little reminder of how loved i am :)
This is probably one of the main reasons why I still blog until now.
It contains lost memories of silly events, old friends, and even ex-boyfriends.
But like a journal, i can flip back and read about what happened, and exactly how i felt when it was all happening. Reliving all that happiness with fresh detail :)
And it’s a wonderful feeling.
