A couple of days ago, i sat in the car while DEBBIE WAS DRIVING lol!


You see, my sister just got her driver’s license a few months back, but never did drive much after that. Reason being, my mom still drives her around, and i think my dad is super scared of her hurting the car i mean risking her life.

After all, everyone gets into one or two accidents as a “fresh-grad”, right?

As far as i was informed, the only driving Debbie ever did was with my Dad around the park (where there are fewer cars), and late at night (when there are fewer cars). Hence, we can conclude that she is still the uber noob la


But a couple of days ago i decided to visit McDonald’s drive-thru for my favourite Ribena ais large, and Debbie in the passenger seat piped, “Eh! Wanna let me drive!” *big toothy grin*
Me: “HAHAHAH are you serious. …oh you are. Wait i thought you still cannot drive?”
Debbie: “Heyyy no lah i can drive. Only today Mummy let me drive all the way back from uni! Actually only halfway, we stopped to buy goreng pisang. But still!” *big proud grin*
Me: “HOHOHO i bet Mummy was damn freaked out when she let you drive—”


We proceeded to describe and mimic Mummy dearest’s typical freakout squeals when we drive over 60km/h wtf because ive been there done that wtf. We stopped only when we realized how off topic we got which was when we already reached McDs.


Me: “Finefinefine I’ll let you drive us home ok?”
Debbie: “OKAY”

Like a million giggles and a few more bad jokes at Mummy’s expense later, i decided to whip out my camera to capture this glorious moment of firsts wtf. The pictures didn’t turn out too glorious, though.





Me: “Eh why you look so emo here!”
Debbie: “Oh i was trying not to laugh here, i think i tried too hard HAHAHAAH”





Me: *pokepokepoke* “Ehhh, look here look here! Hehehehe!”
Debbie: “EHHH NOW CANNOT DONT DISTURB ME LAH IM DRIVING!”





Debbie: “Stop poking mee! Ok reach home already, open the door open the door!”


Ok maybe in hindsight, if we got into any accidents it might’ve been my fault.

But it wasn’t my car we were driving that day. HEHEHE. I don’t wanna say whose car is it because then we might sound like we don’t love our Mummy wtf oops
