Getting glammed up in shoes and accessories
The week after i ran around the new Orchard Road, i returned to Singapore again for the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards.
It was really quite an event! I’ve been to a couple of bloggers gatherings and parties where we’re either dressed casual, or in the wildest craziest costumes 
So this time, it was really nice seeing bloggers old and new from around the region all dressed up nice and elegant, adhering to the Formal Black Tie dress code.

I love my dress. Found it at Chic Pop and i damn near cried when i saw such a beautiful sleek black dress. I’m not usually so into black dresses but this one changed my perspective forever. Haha. Ok maybe i didn’t cry but i sure as hell bought it straight away.

Which by the way reminds me. The second installment of Chic Pop Street Market will be held this Sunday (15 Nov) at Zouk KL again, be sure you don’t miss it! And I’m not just saying that because I’m opening shoppe again. :)
The night was fun and eventful, started off with your mandatory (most of the time boring) opening speeches, but this was one of the best openings I’ve ever witnessed
They put on a video about Nuffnang’s story-so-far, introducing the bosses and team members etc, and a behind the scenes look at the organizational environment. It was so funny and well-edited, it made the whole ballroom laugh and glow with pride to be part of such a wonderful organization :)
Darn i wish i can watch it again on Youtube or something but i can’t find it ;( oh well. It remains in our memories.

Great food was served while one by one throughout the night, the winners of each award category were announced.
Smoked tuna herb salad | Light cream of asparagus and greenpeas | Rosemary chicken w/ saffron mash potatoes & vegetables in mango coriander salsa sauce | Praline hazelnut gateau w/ raspberry jelly
(Or in short, just really fantastic food.)

Congratulations to all the winners, and kudos to the Nuffnang team for the success of their biggest event to date :)

Which im still keeping in my handbag until today to nibble on slowly, nyom nyom nyom
The next day, we went on a little tour around Singapore organized by Nuffnang Singapore.
