I’m typing away at my laptop, pausing occasionally to listen to the soft music in the background.
David’s at his acoustic guitar again, playing a quiet tune to himself tonight. And i know well enough by now than to ask, or even wonder what song is it.
Early into dating the guy, i caught him alone in the room, expertly playing the guitar to a song i did not recognize. I sat down and watched, listened. And innocently asked,
“that’s really nice, what song is it?”
“No song, baby. Just randomly playing”

Am still so amazed at how musicians can do that. Create something beautiful out of nothing, instantly.

My phone beeped and broke my thoughts. Who’d be msging me in the dead of the night like this? I read my random midnight text message that made me burst out laughing.

Shaun: Our last conversation was very long ago. So from Australia i would like to say hello aussie style HOW ARE YA MATE? CRIKEY IVE BEEN JOLLY GOOD!!!

Me: Hahahahaha nah here, i give you nice big malaysian style answer AH APA KHABAR, KHABAR BAIK LAMA TAK JUMPE, ABANG DAH PERGI MANE NIIIIH

I’m quite sure Malaysians don’t greet people that way, but neither do Aussies actually say Crikey right? And isn’t Jolly good a British thing hahaha. Ah, stereotypes.

Caught up with old friends last weekend at The Library, after no catch ups for long long time.

Haven’t seen Luxanne since she left for Melbourne like, 2 months ago?
So she had many funny Melbourne travel stories to tell us on top of those crazy weekly photo updates she posts on Facebook, of course.

Hannah and I have both been to Melb too, so all 3 of us compared our own travel stories.
From shopping escapades to insane road trips, the rented car running out of gas and bumping into dividers -_- and finally carrying shitloads of hand-carry’s because the check-in luggage was of course overweight -_-” oh woe is us

I always thought i was the only one that had to endure such (bimbotic) problems, though in my defense, it was my first time traveling abroad alone laa. But now i know other that people faced the same problems as i have! i dont feel like such a bimb anymore, heee

The Library is quite a nice place to chill, actually. And so ends my theory that all bars/clubs built in a shopping mall will fail a miserable death. (ok maybe it doesn’t end, just, this one’s an exception)
i mean, think about it! I won’t mention names la, but fail, fail, and fail.
The Library had a nice atmosphere to it. Bloody packed is what it was, which is always a good sign, i guess. I’m surprised we even found a table to fit all 10 of us as late as 11pm!
