Alright. Here it is.
Been meaning to talk about this for quite some time now, but every time i try to start, it ends even more quickly. I just wasn’t ready.

You see, I’ve been blogging for so many years now, and to a certain extent, my readers have kind of become my family.
In a funny, twisted sort of way :) You’re like a distant relative i only ever meet at CNY dinners. You’re my old Uncle Beng! The loud drunk smelly one that nobody likes, but gets invited to family dinners anyway.

Hehehe I’m kidding. But it was fun insulting you ;p And uncle beng doesn’t exist.

But seriously, you’ve become family in a way that, if anything major is happening in my life, or a break up or if I’m dating someone special, I’ll eventually share it with you.
The depth and extent of information i want to share, that is questionable la. I mean, you’re not gonna give blow-by-blow details of your lovelife with old Uncle Beng, right -_-

But at the very least, you’ll be in the know.

For the longest time, I wasn’t ready to talk about what happened with Rhys and I.
Last I wrote about it was here, and I left it at that.
It was probably a bit of a shocker for most of my readers, seeing that I wrote only happy things about us on my blog.

But that’s just it, isn’t it? I wrote only happy things about us on my blog.
Note down the sweet memories and try forget the bad ones. Plus, I’m not one to bitch to my readers whenever we get into a fight -_-

Looking back, and to put it plainly, it was a relationship where the happies were happy, but the sads were just as bad.
And you may or may not have noticed the significant slowing down of my blogging habits somewhere middle of the year. A big part of it was because,
in between just generally being an overall busy girl, I was also working my butt off to make our relationship work. Even if it meant going against everyone’s advice.
And that didn’t leave me with very much time for anything else. And especially with the dangers of blogging, I might be tempted to pour my heart out here :x

Eventually. I learnt that, relationships with major highs and manic lows, they just don’t work.

:+:+:

I was going back to my happy pappy usual self, surrounding myself with friends, family, music, danceouts, icecream, multitudes of holidays - you know, the usual breakup remedies :p
Nowhere in that equation did i leave space for finding someone new. In that moment, i was too emotionally exhausted anyway.

And then one fine day, out of the blue - a fellow friend got up the nerve to ask me out.
.
.
And i thought, okay, one dinner with a friend wouldn’t hurt.

.
.
.

And now I won’t bother going into details because you probably won’t believe me anyway
But I’ll say one thing. I now truly understand what they mean by “You’ll find it when you least expect it.”

Well. It is a cliche for a reason. :)

So okay guys. Uncle Beng. Here it is. I want you to meet…… David.

This was one of our very first pictures taken together okay, so it’s special……

Oh yea. One more thing.
FYI. I tend to blog wayy waaaay more when I’m happy. :)
