This morning, i dragged my travel roller bag up the stairs and stopped dead when i opened my room door–

And i dare compare it to that image of when Ross (from FRIENDS) entered his date’s apartment and instead of a chair, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of a jacket, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of the end of the day, it’s the end of time, and garbage is all that has survived.


I can tell that the hired Indian cleaning lady has visited my room over the weekend, while i was away. Bless her heart for (trying to) clean my room, but she usually does the floors only.
So now all my unopened boxes, shopping bags, plastic bags, piles of clothes and etcetc’s have been unceremoniously chucked onto whatever surface she could find - the tables, the chairs, cabinets, and especially onto my bed.
Shopping bags piled high among my pillows and plushie Spongebob looked extremely uncomfortable with all that weight squashing his bottom half, pushing all the plush to his very enlarged head.


THAT’S IT. I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE, THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS.
I MUST CLEAN MY ROOM ONCE AND FOR ALL TODAY. MUST. MUSTTTT.
TOP OF MY TO-DO-LIST, PRIORITY NUMBER ONEEEE.


Don’t know how many (failed) attempts at cleaning my room I’ve initiated over the past few months, but today it must be fully done. Must. MUSTT. *determined face*

Don’t get me wrong though, i am not a slob who likes living in a pile of crap. In fact, I’m quite anal about cleanliness and would spruce up a friend’s place if i see it becoming a bit untidy.
Keyword being, a bit untidy. If it’s a freaking hopeless case, then i won’t really bother

And note to self, never allow room to become THIS messy, or else clearing it up will take forever and quite possibly never.
