Hola!
I iz back (and fully recuperated) from that busy weekend, that is Chic Pop Street Market
A tad stressful during the final few days before the event, preparation really was a lot of work and we totally underestimated the time taken to finish it -_- (and ok i lie, make that a lot stressful)
Had us working til wee hours of the morning with minimal sleep. The next morning, chug down some cups of coffee and we’re ready to go go go!
But it was all worth it :) Chic Pop was silly amounts of fun (as expected!), and I’d do it a million times over.
And this is seriously making me reconsider my policy of opening shop only once a year.
I might just end up doing this a bit more often……
Maybe la :) hehehe. We’ll see, we’ll see.

Got interviewed by a couple of video crews and photogs during the event.
I remember one of them is supposed to air on a fashion TV programme, TV2 on a Sunday 10.30am end of the month.
If anyone manages to catch it, do let me know how it goes. Because for some reason,
i *NEVER* seem to be able to catch any of my own TV appearances or commercials -_- people tell me about it or post it up on Facebook, but that’s it.
I asked Debbie to duo with me in the interview but she ran away trying to act busy -_-

And imma have a word with my hairstylist Edmund soon, who recently did Debbie’s hair too.
What the hell! Being sisters automatically inspired him to give us both the same haircut, is it? 
You see everyone wearing sweaters and blazers ’cause the AC was darn friggin’ cold.
We even spotted a vendor down at Velvet donning a poofy winter jacket. SEJUKKK

I returned to my shop and it was my sister’s turn to run amok and shopshopshop :)
While it was my turn to jaga kedai.
I was sitting at my counter with some work to do. A bunch of people were looking at my clothes racks, when one of the guys read the signage to his friends.
Funniest conversation i overheard, that i couldn’t help myself from butting in.
“…An Old Flame…… oh that’s That Girl…… That Girl…….”
“…Cynthia.” i said to him.
“Right! ………”
(realization soon dawns upon his face)
“Hi” :)
(his friends burst out laughing)

When i look at chic, normally i will focus on the eye, the eyes tells everything. It’s been more than 30 yrs, i passed all the eye test, at times, i deliberately arrange for test just for reassurance.
You seems to be traveling a lot.
