Fascination.
I remember for Luxanne’s birthday this year, i gave her a Fascinator.
The boys picked me up and on the way to the party, they asked me, “What birthday present are you giving her?”
I very excitedly exclaimed, thinking it was one of the coolest presents a girl could have at that time, “A Fascinator!”
“Fascinator? What’s that?”
How to explain. “It’s a headpiece, or in this case, a hair band, with really pretty feathers on it.”
They sniggered at me, with the 
whats-wrong-with-you face. “Why would anybody want to put feathers on their head?”
*outraged face* i wanted to say “WHY WOULDN’T THEY?!” but i decided not to.
Why la, WHYYY don’t boys understand fashion -____-”
Oh, but then when i finally gave the present to Luxanne and she opened it, jump jump jump squeal squeal squeal and the boys in the background saw what a Fascinator looks like in all its feathered glory and awesomeness, and said “…… oh, we’re sharing that present ya, Xanne. Glad you like it!”
why are my friends like this, WHY.
