Paradise in the City.
Back!
And the very first thing I did when I got home was jump into my tiny, slightly wobbly, single bed. :)
Fancy hotel room beds are nice - but nothing beat theĀ familiarity and smell of my own bed.
And my bantal busuk of course.

Back!
And also, immediately catapulted back into busy city girl mode. Sigh
In retrospect, maybe traveling too much wasn’t such a great idea. I mean, initially, the thought of flying off to Langkawi island, then to Penang, then to Phuket and then to Bangkok - all within one month - was absolutely exhilarating
ok maybe it still is
But now that I’m back (for good, I hope :p) - there’s mucho catching up to do! Even with all that preparation I did before flying off here there everywhere. The city life stops for no one.
And I must say, I’m having a wee bit of trouble settling back down in the city - or rather, snapping out of holiday mode.
I MISS THE BEACH ALREADY. I miss being around nature, the culture, the fresh air,
the not-a-care-in-the-world feeling.
But luckily, I am surrounded by people who help make the shift easier on me. :)
Friday night, dinner at Il Tempio @ Tamarind Springs.
After hearing so much fuss about Tamarind Springs, i finally got to experience it first hand - and I’m fussing along with everyone else!
Il Tempio was exceptionally exquisite. When it comes to dining and restaurants, I’m a complete sucker for ambiance. And as far as this place is concerned… I didn’t know such a paradise existed in KL.
Walking towards the entrance of the restaurant, which looked like a resort more than anything, we were greeted by candles lining up the wooden staircase, and into the lush green garden. Soothing running waters lined the paths - inside and outside the restaurant. I was completely charmed by the tranquil Asian interior design.
And of course, dinner on the treetop balcony overlooking the jungle beyond :) Authentic Italian cuisine, mmmn.
And the cherry on top? Great company, and conversation. :)

Picture snagged off their website. That’s where we were sitting. :)
The next morning, bright and early Saturday we went a-swimmin’!
Bright and early like, 11am la, early enough ok all of us just woke up anyway -_-”
Another little piece of green paradise I never knew existed in KL? Hijauan Kiara Condos, Mont Kiara.

After gawking at how stunning the place was, the boys went to wrestle each other in the pool, haha.
I walked over to a deckchair, popped on my ipod, and took a quick nap while getting a tan
Later Eujin took us to the jacuzzi area, where there was the hot and cold pool.
The hot pool was FREAKING HOT omg my delicate skin cannot take it >_< hahaha

Hot bath!
HAHAHAHA i think this picture looks a tad gay :p But i love them anyway.
Eujin, Loong, Kelvin, Shaun

Took me damn long just to get my feet in ok

wheee
We alternated between the hot and cold pool a few times (apparently good for blood circulation, heh) then we moved over to the steam room.
A few super sohai memorable moments!
Eujin: “Ooh. Look im drinking water” *sucks in steamy air*
o_o
Kelvin started doing scissors finger-motions in the air
Shaun: “What are you doing?”
Kelvin: “Potong stim”
O_O
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH i love my soh- i mean memorable boys

Later, i ran around with my camera clicking away at my surroundings :)

To the shower

To the hot & cold jacuzzi pool

To our private room

To nowhere wtf

IAMNINJAH

Makan besar right after morning swim. Bananaleaf rice NOM.

One of our last escapades together, before Shaun & Eujin flew away to Melbourne the very next day.
