Opening Shoppe @ Zouk
So, most of you know that I’m not *exactly* a stranger to Zouk Club, KL 
(especially at night)
But something not many people know is, neither am I unfamiliar with the place during the day.
Back in my dancing days, we’ve performed countless times at Zouk, requiring us to be there in the afternoon for venue rehearsal. One of my favourites has to be that Harajuku in Trippy Wonderland -ish show we did for a Hennessy event many years ago 
(so very many years ago I had to dig up old archives from xanga?! -_-)
One thing’s for sure. Being at your usual favourite hangout club - minus the flashy lights, usual loud pumping music, and night crowd - It’s definitely a surreal feeling.
But now that I’ve hung up my dancing shoes already, I didn’t think I’d be seeing the insides of quiet Zouk anytime soon.
But this weekend, it seems I’ll be revisiting old memories at the club in broad daylight, spending my entire day morning til evening (i haven’t decided if i’ll stay there at night or not ;p), on both Saturday and Sunday
And it’ll be great if you can come join us!
Old dance memories put aside,
this weekend I’m opening shoppe @ Zouk for ChicPop: Street Market 
am super excited!
Now, some of you may remember the first (and only) time I opened shoppe @ Threadszoo early last year, which turned out to be some CRAZY amounts of fun. Gosh I love meeting the customers and kick-ass fashionistas who come flooding the place :) and not to mention the eccentric vendors, and spending all my profits on buying their stuff! Hehh.
And eventhough I’ve been getting offers by the dozen from various weekend bazaar organizers, (there’s so frickin’ many these days, it’s starting to look like spam in my email inbox -_-),
I decided that would also be one of my last times opening shoppe. Simply because, it’s quite a lot of work! (aaaand, okay most of my stuff were sold off already :)
But after 1 and a half years of compulsive shopping, travel buys, and of course, owning An Old Flame,
I think I’ve accumulated enough junk wonderful lovable things that I don’t wear anymore/never worn before, in desperate need of a new owner.
What can you expect from my shoppe?
People ask me, is Cynthia opening shop, or is it under An Old Flame?
It’s definitely gonna be a good mix of the two. But then again, everything you see in An Old Flame pictures that AREN’T for sale, those clothes are all mine and styled by me. And those that ARE for sale, handpicked by yours truly. So there may not be a clear distinction between the two anyway!
So if you like what you see on An Old Flame, i reckon you’ll like what you see this weekend ;)
Pricing??
I haven’t gotten around to pricing my wares just yet, but I’ve always believed that we all go to junksales and fashion bazaars for a good bargain. God knows how often I’ve raved about the awesome steals and bargains I managed to bag while goin’ a treasure huntin’ 
Best feeling ever!!
So, same policy, I won’t be pricing high. I remember back at Threadszoo, I was letting things go at RM10-RM40, with one or two items at RM50 the most. Damn crazy -_-
And here’s a tip: Buy me a couple of beers and keep me happy-tipsy, and there’s a high possibility I’ll let you haggle me to death. ;)
So, who else is gonna be there?!
A good mix of local and regional designers and shop owners, both online and off!
And I bet you, it’s not gonna be all girl-stuff. Gonna be tons of great finds for boys too ;)
