Langkaweee <3
(Continuation of Part 1)
Looking through the photos of Langkawi again :) god i miss those girls.
I said I’d continue blogging about Langkawi once I’m back from my travels and my life settles down abit :)
If I had to sum up my Langkawi holiday in just a few words, I’d say,
Besides lounging on the beach (pics in Part 1), all we ever did was EAT. GLORIOUS. FOOD.
Ie Tjer has a knack for finding the best (i repeat, THE BEST) food in Langkawi. We all spend a bloody bomb on an island where people usually go to for a budget holiday.
BUT IT WAS A BLOODY BOMB WELL SPEND, YUH-HUH.

This is me stopping from picking barbarically at my crab, to smile at the camera.
Crab still in mouth. nyom nyom nyom
It was our first night of our 4d3n stay, and of course we had to merasmikan it with seafood. :)

Me, Mingshen, Shervin :)
After dinner, we headed back to the Cenang Beach where we stayed at, and there was this little bar shack on the beach itself. Grabbed us some beers and chilled on the mats on the sand.
Bliss, i tell you.
A bunch of locals later came out and put on a small firedance show!
Though you could tell some of them were sort of amateur-ish, ’cause they kept dropping the firesticks and burning their hands, which was scary to watch, but hey, can’t complain about free entertainment :)

oooh.
And don’t ask whose hand was that -_-”

The second night we went to a German restaurant on the beach. Ie Tjer has been here before and promises excellent German food here,
If only the restaurant didn’t change their entire menu!
hahaha
But we weren’t disappointed. I sure as hell wasn’t.
I ordered the Seafood Stew, and I swearrr, this was the best seafood stew I ever had in my life.

ok bad lighting but i didn’t care, i couldn’t wait to chow that down NOM.
It came with the best garlic bread (and i don’t usually eat bread, so this one was REALLY. THAT. GOOD.)
No wait, it started out as just pretty-good garlic bread – but then it TRANSFORMED into the best garlic bread EVER — SUPER GARLIC BREAD — when dipped into the MOST AWESOME seafood stew gravy soup. Ohmahgawddd. So frickin’ good!
It was a huge portion and I had trouble finishing it but ohmahgaaad it felt like a terrible sin not to finish it T___T
And nowadays I get random cravings for Seafood Stew with Super Garlic Bread, but I can’t find any in KL T___T help please?

SUPER GARLIC BREAD

Good morning!
The next day we went sight-seeing for abit. Had lunch at The Loaf, by the harbour.

Shervin: “Baby, buy me a yacht someday, ok?”

“I buy that one, can ah?”
LOL .

Had coffee afterwards at The Datai.
Must make it a point to come back and stay here one day.

;x

Commercial break wtf

Shrunken head

Goodbye, Langkawi x
Waited around at the airport on the last day, not exactly wanting to go home yet.
The airport was freaking cold. I cannot tahan cold, so I bought Maggi Mee Cup from the nearby shop, just to warm myself up

And warm me up, it did
