(Warning: 30+ pictures ahead)

Last Thursday was that crazy last minute trip to Penang.
Like, the idea came about on Wednesday, and we were driving up north on Thursday morning -_-” psycho. But apparently i like psycho people very much

OHH. BTW.

Some of you may know I’ve always been wanting to own a super cute but super pointless giant Spongebob plushie for like, aaages,
While driving up north we stopped at the Tapah R&R, and LOOK WHAT I FOUND!! :D

omgomgogogmogmogmog SOKUTEEEE!!!!111one *hop hop hop*

It’s like, so damn 7 besar and ridiculous looking! And best of all — ONLY rm49.90 ok WTF
in KL confirm like rm100+++ for this ridiculous size!!! :D :D :D

I was seriously about to buy it already, til my head started asking me rational questions,
“What the fug are you going to do with it! Your room is already so small and packed with rubbish you haven’t cleared out. Do you really want Giant Spongey to sit in one corner collecting dust, DO YOU?!”
“Butbutbut! ITS SOKUTEEEE. hophophop. I’ll put it on my bed!”
“You mean your single bed? You’ll end up kicking Giant Spongey off, do you really want him to sleep on the floor, DO YOU?! Or maybe he’ll end up kicking YOU off your own bed?”
“Butbutbut. BUT.”

Freaking internal strunggle. And during the 20 minutes or so that I struggled with myself,
apparently Shaun and Chiewmei made a bet with each other whether or not I’ll end up buying it. Shaun pro Spongey, Chiewmei pro me putting it down.

Unfortunately, Chiewmei wins. :) and now Shaun apparently has to stand at a balcony some day, open his shirt ala Superman style, and shout out something hilariously crude like “I LOVE WOMEN WITH NO - -”

I don’t know laa, I don’t know why my head calls the shots.
It was a mixture of Goddammit I’m taking too long to decide, we have to get back to the roadtrip, this Giant Spongey may look pariah I’ll have to take off the plastic wrapper and take a better look, but what if the taukeh kedai marah if I end up not buying it - - - ARGH let’s just put it down for now T___T

Plus I already have one smaller, decent, more huggable-sized Spongey whose sohai face always makes me laugh (and punch it).
BUTBUTBUT. It’s not damn 7 besar and ridiculous lookinggg T___T
Nvm. I’ll think about it and see if it’s worth one and a half hour’s drive back up to Tapah.
Or who still owes me a birthday present please get it for me. PLIZZ.
And EHH i chup already ah no one can buy it for other people! CHUPP AH.

This 2d1n trip to Penang was basically a makan fest. Later at night we went down to Gurney Drive, and then Macalister Street for more makanables :)

Back at the hotel, we showered and changed into our jammies, and drank the night away wtf :)
I’ve currently developed a phobia towards Red Bull. From the amounts of Jägerbombs we had, I feel sick whenever I even smell Red Bull now -_-” blueh.

Penang Road asam laksa woohoo!

Unfortunately, we all agreed that the asam laksa here sudah jatuh standard.
But my allegiance has always remained with the Ayer Hitam asam laksa. Therein lies the best asam laksa in the whole wide world. IMHO of course ;)
