Last Thursday was the very first day of the Zara/Pull&Bear/Massimo Dutti warehouse sale, and SisterDebbie and I had been contemplating on going :)
I mean HELLOOO, LIEK, it’s Zara and Pull&Bear !!! *shopaholic squeal*
Waaayy on top of my favourite-shops-list, yo.
And usually these types of warehouse sales are located at random faraway places i don’t know how to drive to and can’t be bothered to look at the map for, but this one’s like, right smack at Cineleisure Damansara, The Curve! zomg fated la how to miss!!

But I stopped squealing to myself when I thought of the EPIC mad crowd that are usually attracted to these types of warehouse sales. Argh. I don’t like crowds.

And then, on Thursday itself, one of my customers of An Old Flame texted me some horrifying news.

1pm: “I’m paying right now. I came at 10am when the doors opened at 11, and everyone was practically pushing their way in. At one point, people were shouting and getting angry! There’s too many people. Good bargains though :)”

Arghhh! -_- my worst nightmare. More than crowds, I certainly don’t like angry pushy bargain-hungry mobs.

And that was when I told Debbie sorry but we’re staying home today.

And that was when Debbie gave me the OH-COME-ONNN-look-of-shocked-disappointment and I gave her the OMG-YOU’RE-RIGHT-LET’S-GOOO-look-of-repented-determination.

OMG HELLO WAREHOUSE SALE.

We arrived at 4pm and passed by a friend, Ernest. Who said to me, “….just arrived? Why you come so late! Go look at the queue, I think you’ll be in there at 6 only.”

argh why is everyone trying to dampen our spirits! *spirits dampened*

But we marched right up to the area - laughed at our misery when we saw the ridiculous line (TWO ridiculous long lines btw) - and queued up right at the start T___T

Saw Gerald at the front of the line and he told us he waited about 45 minutes to get there. Phewh. Now that doesn’t sound sooo bad….. (actually it does la, but compared to 2 hours, we’re definitely counting our blessings)

Thankfully we only ended up waiting in line for about 40 minutes, which actually felt much shorter to me but that’s probably ’cause I had my sister to entertain me silly :)
And there was no angry mob out front la, we were all a very chilled evening crowd, hehe.

Muka meh.

Everyone waiting to see the light.
(EH this shot was taken when we were quite up front of the line, and does not do justice to the actual craziness that is the length of the queue -_-)

When we finally got in, the scene was crazy.
Bundles and bundles of clothes everywhere; in giant piles for you to dig through (with other bargain-hungry shoppers), on the racks for you to sift through quickly, and even scattered on the floor for you to ignore and step on.

And the moment I turned around, Debbie was gone. Washed away by the sea of people no doubt -_- so I took a deep breath, and got to work.

My first 20 minutes in there I was really diligent, and I found some pretty cute stuff :)
but after 20 minutes - I started to remember how much I really didn’t like crowds plus the heat and all the dust la.

I looked for the queue to pay for my purchases, SUPER annoying confusing long zig-zaggy queue going right through a crowded busy shopping lane, and the worker was so rude when I asked for help, hmph -_-
And then, at the last minute, I saw this awesome psychedelic bluish purplish pink fabric on the floor and i picked it up curiously and WAHEY! It’s a gorgeous dress that fell off the racks!
Was abit dirty on the edges from being stepped on, oh nooo, but nothing a wash couldn’t help with :)
And omg what a bargain, super worth it and puts all the other clothes I found to shame. Wow.
So it made me day worthwhile, and i was no longer angry at that incompetent worker dude, hahaha

Will post a picture of my awesome psychedelic bluish purplish pink dress soon! Yes, I wore it like a few nights later, hahahahah ish, i is many happies to find it
