I’m not supposed to be blogging tonight, got a lot of work to do but……

Sigh. Didn’t have the mood to say much last night ’cause I was emo
went to wallow in my sorrows by Youtubing Gokey’s songs last night, wuwuwu T.T
But I feel (abit) better now so I’ll fill you in on my thoughts on the AI finalists for a bit.
Adam Lambert is, well, phenomenal. Theatrical. Entertaining :) It’s a little insane. His high-note screaming freaks me out sometimes. But anyway, you gotta be living under a rock if you don’t know his name already.
Kris Allen, the dark horse. Even I didn’t think very much of him at the beginning, but towards the end his music style reminded me a lot of Jason Mraz, which is always good in my books :) doesn’t hurt that he’s cute too, quiet and humble. Makes my sister swoon all the time.
But I’ve really been rooting for Danny Gokey since the beginning. His voice is so amazing! So soulful and touching, with his sexy raspy voice. Gives me goosebumps almost all the time. Most memorable performance was when he sang “Endless Love” and of course, this week’s “You Are So Beautiful”. *CRIES*
AND HIS SMILE. HELLOO. His warm, kind smile. SIGHHH. My turn to swoon.

I absolutely love all the 3 finalists this season (now 2, OH NOOO)
Didn’t matter who would’ve gotten voted out I still would’ve been upset.
But I really figured I’d see my personal 2 favourites (and consistent front-runners) in the finals: Adam and Gokey.
Adam Lambert is a shoo-in la, so, haihh boring to talk about him already.
So you can imagine my SHEER AGONY when Ryan Seacrest announced Kris into the top 2 finalists 
I jumped up from the couch, screaming “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!”
while my sister jumped too, screaming “YEAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!”
The two of us hooligans ran round and round the living room screaming our respective war-cries, til we both fell back on the couch and mellowed to Gokey’s final performance of “You Are So Beautiful”. *nooooooo*
Sigh. My god, being a fangirl is exhausting.
Seacrest announced that more than 88 million votes were received, with only 1 million votes separating the the top 2, Adam and Kris.
Hmm. Who else is thinking next week’s final showdown may be closer than we thought? 
But for now, let me wallow.

Is it okay if the next time you warn us about spoilers in your post? Maybe cut the post or something? Some of us are from UK and we get idol a little later than you guys so seeing the spoilers in your blog (i couldn’t shut my eyes in time) was a very sad thing :( :(

no 2..adam..u shoould know..the fact that he is so theatrical…makes you realize that he is a crowd pleaser..and that his true self has never really been identified. I love Danny cause of his soul…Adam never had soul..he was just putting on a show…that’s sad…every performance is amazing..and yet..you wonder how his own song will sound like
see…there is a formula for winning idol..remake renditions of the songs to make it sound “unique”..and you win..proven with david cook…he found it out and exploited it.. same with ‘rockstar supernova’..
so ya..danny..will miss him..

hahaahaha! I love Danny, I do, but I’m glad that Kris made it! :D I wish Adam was eliminated though, I really do. He can go make his own over-the-top records without being tied to Idol. hmph.

davidburi: hahaha…i had a feeling u'd have something to say about this. well i dunno about adam having no soul or identity… just a different type of artist la. i'd still say adam has mad mad talent. But Gokey has SOUL OH YEAAA BAYBEH and that i can relate to. Damn man, im overdosing on Gokey youtube right now.
Sarah, Debbie & Kathleen: CHEH PRETTY BOY. no la, i think Kris works really well with his vocal limitations, as in he's really creative. he deserves to go far. But i still stand by my opinion that Gokey's voice, talent and soul makes him the better artist.
