Wrote this a couple of weeks ago when I was particularly upset about something. Finally decided to pull it out of my Drafts.

Do you ever think about the friendships you’ve lost in your life?

Those people you’ve loved and lost in the past.
Ships that sailed in and out of your life, but have left their significant marks.
Everything around reminds you so fondly of them. Their names ring so bittersweet.

But while you ache to relive those moments again, you also know that they’re over.
And rather than forcing it, you settle with acceptance; and watch those sailed ships quietly fade into nothing but memories left behind.


If there is one life lesson I have yet to learn, I think, it is to stop caring about people too much.
This applies to people who don’t deserve it; and the ones who do, but they’ll only leave in the end.
And therefore breaking my heart, whether they know it or not.

But once the dust has settled (and maybe a few tears shed), I suppose all there’s left is acceptance.

I wonder though, if you think of me? As much as I think of you.
And how I’ve missed the good old days when we were inseparable. :)
Was it time that drew us apart. Or distance. Or simply our circumstances.
Was it my fault. Was it yours. Or do I simply blame life.

I hope you know, that just because I don’t call anymore,
doesn’t mean I don’t miss you, and think about you all the time.

   in my opinion, it sucks to care for friends who don’t even give a damn to the friendship :( i’m tired of it so i called it off. there are just some people who don’t deserve it. sad..

   Cyn, i had the similar experience. just when everyone ignored him, i still tried my best to care for him.. but in the end, i was the one to be blamed. sigh, of all the cares given to him, were all worthless. true enough, i learned not to care for certain people too much, cause i get nothing in return.

   I am in this situation. I only felt that I got no reason for me to be there for her anymore. I stop believing.

   I tried to patch things up between us and its taking time. Hope you will do the same :D

   Its really hard to trust a person in our life, but I really miss her a lot.

   hey i’m in a similar situation with you too.

   i don’t bother to care anymore. it such a waste of times but it’s hard cause i still think bout him sometimes.

   anyway you stay strong and listen to this song White Horse by Taylor Swift

    it relates to most people. if you’ve tried and things still don’t work, move on if that’ll make you feel better. Getting stuck there won’t get you far, or anything at all.

    Friends come and go, that’s how you get to meet new friends :) Pursue change, life is too short to be so dull. But some people have different opinions about life, that’s just my point of view :) Do lock those treasures that you still have though before you lose em. Life’s like a brief candle :)
