I have a problem.
….and Step 1 is to admit it.
My desk:
A-day-old cup of coffee,
2 pencil boxes (1 to store serious pens, 1 to store fun highlighters and coloured markers :p)
Nokia e71 box (excitedly took out the phone when i first bought it and chucked the box aside, heh)
Starbucks 2008 year planner,
Lonely rose-wielding teddy bear in the corner,
CDs, a couple magazines, receipts, an overdue spa treatment voucher, (all not shown in picture, hiding under that heap of mess)
Antiseptic cream in the white plastic bag Papa bought for my burnt skin, (which was never used)
Casio metal box casing with a small jar of peanut butter inside, (don’t ask)
Every now and then, I’ve mentioned how the mess in my room has reached new heights.
Dressing table:
Tissue box, combs, hair brushes, nail file, razor, (nail clippers, tweezers, and little etc’s all hiding inside the floral cuppy thing), hairbands, and my new peacock feathered hairband never been used before (can’t wait to use it :p)
Uhh. Big mess in the middle.
And uhh. Shitloads of hair & beauty products half of which i don’t use anymore. Or never used ever.
Oh, aloe vera gel on the far right, (my saviour during my burnt time of need)
The Little Prince on the left (and The Velveteen Rabbit hiding behind it)
Doesn’t matter how often I’ve tried to clean it up, I never seem to get done.
Furthermore, new mess always tends to appear before I get done. Yes, appear. Out of nowhere! Not my doing i tell you!! 
*poof*
Doesn’t help that I’m easily distracted and will go do something else more fun.
ie. abandon the boring cleaning up process.

Pretty IKEA box folders to hold my old ACCA books and notes galore!
Monsters under my bed.
Found some textbooks hiding under my bed too. (and my self-made notes on IFRS 1 – First Time Adoption of IFRS). Must’ve kicked them under my bed one day in hopes that they will magically disappear.
Inside the cupboard:
Oh hello, meet my new Blythe doll (no name yet, suggestions?)
Apparently she’s guarding the sacred Treasure Box (thrifted in Melbourne for AUD$3. Scoreee!) holding all my chunky bangles,
Monet box holding my bracelets and charms,
Red box on the right with my earrings,
Headbands, loose earrings and charm bracelets scattered all over the floor,
and that’s the backside of a stuffed koala bear i got for Yeehou from Melbourne (faster come claim it YH, it’s feeling rather neglected and threatens to run away from home.)
Inside the cupboard:
Top level: Emily Rose the Blythe Doll, mini bottle of Beefeater alcohol (freebies from the TiC launch) and more books hiding behind them.
Bottom level: Big red box of memories, (EVERYONE has a box of memories, don’t lie 
i even know a guy who has a whole drawer-full of memories, wtf wow)
Small red box of more earrings,
Empty Malibu bottle from my 20th birthday, (there’s a story behind it but im lazy so make it a story for another day again la, hehh)
“Reserved” sign Alda stole for me on my 21st birthday, haha
Teddy bear door sign that says “A kiss a day keep the meanies away” :)
As you can see, the cupboard has been transformed into a storage space more than anything else. I slid hard cardboard behind the sliding glass thingies to cover the ugly storage mess that resides within, hee hee.
Inside the cupboard:
Top level: Unused photo frames,
Bottom level: Unused files and folders, some magazines, big yellow box containing all my nail polish, removers, more nail files and buffers etc.
Was halfway clearing out my book shelf, then I got bored/gave up/got distracted/got hungry. :)
I looked around and breathed a heavy sigh, the hopeless thought that I’ll probably NEVER get the tidying up done crossed my mind. 
On the verge of giving up, I snapped a picture (the first picture of my desk) which was intended for Project365 or something. Then I started snapping more and more, which then
turned into this post la. :) talk about getting distracted, hey.
Inside the cupboard:
Krispy Kreme paper hat Sarah brought back from Australia for me years ago,
Sammy the Samaritan, chilling after a hard day’s work of doing so much good (also from the TiC Launch, and HAHA the doll dress-maker found that blog post on Sammy, hi Pearl!)
Old teen books and chic lits hiding behind, and some old notebooks filled with my doodles and scribblies from high school.
Inside the cupboard:
Unopened full set of Harry Potter books, more random boxes of junk, and some loose jewelry and big white flower brooch.
But by doing this picture-taking thing and scrutinizing all my stuff, it brings back a lot of memories :) some of which I’ve blogged about in the past (notice all the links everywhere), and some are personal I guess.
Nobby the Knobhead has complained her neck and shoulders are starting to ache.
Back to the dressing table:
Wrist watches, hair ties and clippies, more loose jewelry and necklaces, eyelash curlers and falsies, dried up liquid liner and mascara, and more random etcs.
And a bunch of sample products I received from various events/companies, I don’t use them so I don’t know what else to do but chuck them around the room mainly my dressing table -_-
God, I’m such a pig. Why do you people love this little piggy, why T_T
I asked this question to the Boyfriend, and he answered… well. Pretty well, let’s just leave it at that. :) the boy’s got the gift of the gag la, what can i say.
And I also ended up Googling online for solutions on how to manage and organize your SHITLOADS OF STUFF in small rooms, apartments, and small spaces.
‘Cause God knows that’s my problem right now. (apart from my attention-deficit disorder, of course)

trust me, that is nothing compared to my room. in fact, compared to my room, yours look pretty tidy. lol. i’ve been telling people i want to tidy my room for.. about 4, 5 years now? and i still haven’t come close to it.
i bought a shelf to help me organise my stuff but ended up making a bigger mess. i have things stuffed under my bed, at the corners of my room, piled on top of one another in my closet. but like i always tell my mum, it looks and feel cozier and ‘lived-in’ that way. haha.

Mine's all hidden. In both my wardrobes (see, that's how much junk I have)- bags literally fell out till I got those storage thingies from IKEA to stop that.
Clothes falling from shelves, my overflowing dresser (that is all my stuff, since my sister is in NY now).
The bookshelf. Oh god. I cleared my sister's side (she is gonna KILL me since I cleared out her side of the wardrobe and left her with 2 drawers and a tiny bit of shelf space, haha) to chuck in all my art books & magazines.
Why I keep doing this I dunno.
There are even more boxes ON TOP of my wardrobe that house magazines- Aussie Cosmos & Cleo's that date back to 2004, few other mags that go as far back as 1997!
When I throw stuff out, miraculously that;s the time I'll need 'em! Grrr.
Now, to go desk shopping… saw this nice small wooden gorgeous one in Ikea… hmmm.

haha. ur stuff are not half as messy as mine!! and u should look at my WARdrobe. it’s like a WAR zone (this is after i’ve given away 6 plastic bags – those black trash plastic bags full of baju.
the only ‘good’ thing is that i don’t have a study table (i’m wayyyyyy passed my tahun belajar, and i don’t bring back my work (if i do, i’ll just work on the floor, and the floor will be covered in papers!!).
oh. but my bookshlef is pretty neat. haha. btw, how’s the nokia E71? am thinking of getting one for myself.
