Eavesdropping.
Therapist: …..Ok that’s it. You really need a break.
Me: Whaat. Nooo. Whyy.
Therapist: I listen to you also I damn stress already. You should just stop. Drop everything, pack your bags and get away for awhile. A weekend holiday! Or go to Melbourne again, or another country!
Me: I can’t just drop everything. I have obligations. And they’ll be waiting for me to come home, just to bite me in the ass for leaving. Argh.
Therapist: Or at the very least, just slow down. Slow down, and you can surely drop some of those burdens. Think of the one that gives you the most stress, and without it, you can do much better.
You know,
Growing up with my little sister, giving her the occasional big sis talks, advice, and even bullying her from time to time,
I never thought our roles would ever reverse. I’m so used to being the big sister, the independent one, taking care of myself and of others around me, I forget what it’s like to have someone else take care of me for a change.
My my, how much we have grown. :)

No points for guessing who is who!
