I’m currently working on…. quite a number of things.
My head is spinning from it all, and I’ve learned again and again that execution is much harder than planning!
Anyway, so not the point.

Amongst other things, I’m also currently working on my New Year’s resolution.
This one, not so much as to sit my restless ass down and come up with a comprehensive list la. Just, thinking of things as I go about my daily routine, and making mental notes of them.
I’ve come up with some pretty good stuff already it’s not a very long list, but it’s not about quantity, is it.

I might or might not publish my New Year’s resolutions on my blog because these things can be personal. But I have a knack for turning my too-personal information into vague cryptic puzzles, so if I do post it up, it’ll be on the first day of 2009 i suppose :)

Pictures of Singapore!

We were there from Friday to Sunday, but I only took pictures on Saturday don’t ask me why I’m just lazy like that sometimes.

The unwashable souvenir of Friday night’s party.
Is a Lego man’s head!

I scrubbed and scrubbed til my wrist went red, and still Last Night’s stamp of shame would not go away
But then the whole lot of us had the same faded stamps on our wrists, so collectively it ended up cool hee.

OH HAIZ!
Touristy-Elaine on Haji Lane (EH cool it rhymes)

So I started my post-exam holiday on the island down south, which sound relaxing enough and one would think I’d come back home well-rested and rejuvenated,
But not quite true
I came home with a cough, a sore throat, and I am losing my voice got a new husky sexy voice now. Not necessarily well-rested either, traveling is tiring!

Gingey and Elaine

So an idea came up that we shouldn’t drink too much water, because we traveled by bus to and fro Singapore, and the bus would only make ONE toilet stop during the entire 5 hour drive.
Plus, the R&R’s aren’t exactly spotless clean hotel bathrooms.
So it sounded like a pretty good idea at the time to dehydrate ourselves silly :)

Except now I’m coughing like crazies and got a husky man-voice.
When I got home and crossed paths with my dad he asked me why is my voice like that, and I told him my rationale behind the idea of dehydrating myself over the weekend which of course previously made sense, and my dad laughed at me yes he laughed out loud at his own daughter’s misery, sigh isn’t my dad amazing.

Gingey: Gimme a Lapsap Lady pose!
Me: OK! *runs to the rubbish bin wtf*

JingWei and Bryan.
I feel like a midget standing next to these 2 towers -_-”

I love Haji Lane.
The shopping is fantastic, and there’s always something to look at :)

That Saturday night of course, I popped my ZoukOut cherry :)

Stolen off youknowwhere!

Oh, and wanna know something damn stupid.
No seriously, brace yourselves for its sheer stupidity.

So Bryan gave us all our ZoukOut tickets to hold for ourselves right before we got on the bus to enter Sentosa Island. So that’s like a couple of minutes hanging around, and about 15 minutes sitting down idly on the bus. How can I possibly lose my ticket, right.

And so I took the ticket from Bryan, folded and tucked it neatly into my left front pocket along with my bus ticket. While sitting down idly on the bus, I even CHECKED to make sure my ZoukOut ticket was still in my left front pocket where I tucked it in. Yes, it’s still there. Ok, continue sitting idly. How can I possibly lose my ticket, right.

We reached Sentosa Island and the bus stopped right in front of the ZoukOut entrance.
While stepping off the bus, I took out my bus ticket from my left front pocket.

And at the entrance I CHECKED AGAIN for my ZoukOut ticket in my left front pocket, and it was gone.

How. Can. I. Possibly. Lose. My. Ticket. Right.

Panic-stricken, I turned back and saw the bus driving away. My ZoukOut ticket must have fallen off when I took out my bus ticket! WHILE stepping off the bus

WTF what kind of crazy bad luck is that!!??

Sit down idle doing nothing at all, and ON TOP OF THAT, i even *checked* to make sure my ticket was still in my pocket. After all of that, still can lose it in the end T________T craziness.

I have officially witnessed the power of FATE.

It was FATED that I lose the ticket. No amount of safety precautions and sitting down idly can save you from your fated doom, and in this case, mine.
So I marched right up to the ticket booth and bought me another ticket ($58 Sg Dollars ouch.) but no complaints, because fate is fate, accept it, go have a good time, and let bygones be.

But next time I’ll probably let someone else hold my ticket for me okthx.
