Sexy Little Thang.
So I’ve been hearing all sorts of rumours and small-talks of a certain ultra small, ultra sleek, sexy new laptop called the Dell Inspiron Mini 9
But nothing prepared me for when I finally *saw* the highly talked about new gadget.
It’s one thing to talk about it, but it’s a whole other story using it for yourself ;)

I must admit I was smitten by my new Dell Mini 9.
So much that my not-so-new-but-i-still-love-her red Dell Inspiron 1420 was getting a bit jealous of all that attention I was giving the Mini 9.

But you can’t blame me, I simply could not believe how small, sleek and sexy the Dell Mini 9 was! 
Measuring at only 8.9 inches, compared to the usual 14 - 15 inch laptops these days.
But its most apparent feature that really knocked me off my feet was how LIGHTWEIGHT it was. Weighing at a mere 1.035kg, this baby is extremely portable and convenient.
I literally carried it everywhere I went, and I mean everywhere. 
It is the first in the market to have a built-in HSPA modem, hence no external modems or WIFI connectivity required!
My Dell Mini 9 came with a built-in HSPA Maxis broadband modem, which really means I can have internet access literally everywhere I go :)
…and blog any time I want to!
Checking emails while waiting for girlfriends to arrive for lunch,
Or stay connected during lunch!
Busy girls are always on the move ;)
But it’s not every day we get to have our meals at expensive restaurants, which would usually provide WIFI connection.
I had breakfast with Chris one morning at the old coffee shop with no WIFI, and there I had half boiled eggs, Milo, and a high-speed Maxis Broadband-ready laptop. Hehe.

I brought it to uni one day and it got some fair attention there too
Clearly, Jonming & Chris are impressed.
I loved how convenient the Mini 9 was even for studying purposes.
I could easily log onto the ACCA website and some lecturer’s blogs to look for pass year papers and exam tips :)
And it also helped a lot in between study breaks! (read: procrastination material )
Lent it to my sister one night and she got caught err, multi-tasking.
Small enough to fit into my handbang, light enough to carry it around easily!

I would like to tell you it was given to me, fully sponsored, big ha-ha show-offy laugh and all,
but no it was a loan, and had to returned after a couple of weeks T__T
Which is sheer torture really, giving me a sneak peak of something great and then taking it away T__T why la Maxis playing me hot and cold.

Anonymous: well see here, ive often heard of people complaining that the speed is slow, but i encountered no such problem! i think it has very much to do with the Maxis coverage area you’re in.
