Grey’s Anatomy S05E09
“Oh. My. God. That was the BEST episode EVAAR.”
SisterDebbie clears out her dinner plate (we like to eat at the computer table while watching the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy downloaded off the net) and said, “Yah. Damn tear-jerking right!”
“It was damn intense from start to finish wei. Omg I wanna watch it all over again.”
My sister and I have been an avid follower of Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill tv series for a long time now, watching the latest aired episode every single week.
(Gilmore Girls and The O.C. too, but those series have ended and we’ve watched them all, hahahah my god we are chronic tv drama series addicts)
But now that exams are around the corner, I’ve stopped all of that (more like paused, will catch up after exams) EXCEPT for Grey’s.
Grey’s is my single most ultimate favourite, and under no circumstances will I miss a single episode hmph. (see? chronic.)
I rewound the episode back to my favourite scenes, meaning from start to finish again (SPOILER ALERT!)
Dr. Torres has hit her all time lowest point now, hasn’t she. Betrayed by her ex-husband, left by her lesbian partner, now alone and vulnerable and she breaks her nose. You gotta laugh sometimes at the ironies of life.
But you gotta love the sarcasm and friendship-with-benefits going on between her and Dr. McSteamy! :)
And what the hell. Why is Dr. Hunt not telling Christina how he feels about her? Why do words fail him like that? Come out and say you love her already! Bugger, you worked at that hospital for one day, took out her icicle, gave her a suture and OH YA the kiss of the century for cryin’ out loud. Then you left, and now you’re back working for the hospital full-time and you act like nothing ever happened? WHAT’S THE MATTER WITH YOU, ARE YOU AN AQUARIUS?!!?
And Christina’s been alone for far too long.
(edit: okay Faye, yes he did tell her she was beautiful at the end. BUT THAT’S NOT ENOUGH!!! But ok I guess that’s a start. :p)
And DON’T get me started with Denny and Izzy. This one is damn too much. What the hell are the writers doing, bringing Denny back from the dead like that? After we watched Izzy struggle for so long trying to move on from his death, now his ghost comes back and messes with her? But why is he so REAL? Why is Izzy REALLY touching him, and REALLY having sex with him, and REALLY feeling his heart beat? Why??? I mean, I loved Denny, I was really rooting for them to be together, but now HE’S DEAD, i still don’t know why he seems so real to her now but THIS IS SO BAD FOR IZZY okay, she needs to move on. She needs to move on.
Izzy: I’m crazy. That’s what this is, craziness.
Denny: Izzy, you’re not crazy.
Izzy: Then what is this? Wha- What are you?
Denny: I’m a dead man who loves you.

And WHOA i cried like crazy during the scene when she woke up and panicked when Denny wasn’t there anymore (against her blood red bedsheets, I remember them very clearly thinking wow gorgeous I must get gorgeous blood red bedsheets soon) but then Denny came back from the kitchen or where ever he wandered off to, and Izzy cried and yelled at him for leaving, for leaving AGAIN, for having left her all alone in the past. And my god she was once again torn down, broken apart, just like when Denny suddenly died a few seasons ago.

Should I be worried that I am so invested in fictional characters of a drama series?
Or should I be worried as to the *reason* why I’m so invested, that we can all relate to their troubles on one level or another.
But no matter how frustrated I am with the troubles they face, (they don’t deserve it la!)
All the more reason why I can’t seem to get away from this particular tv drama series. The plot is too friggin’ good.
When you can remember so clearly the details of an episode and deem that your favourite, then the next episode comes out and you deem *that* your new favourite, you know the plot is damn friggin’ good. And it’s just gonna get better. :)
Holy poop, I should get back to my studies.

LOL You and I watch the EXACT same series. I also watch those 4 only now: Grey’s Heroes, GG and OTH :p We are soulmates I swear! LOL!
And my dear, you have one episode of Grey’s to go (which I watched yesterday teehee) QUICKLY GO WATCH IT’S EVEN BETTER!!!!!!!!

Eh?? the next episode GA s05e10 hasnt even aired in america yet la? it airs on thursday night there, means friday morning msia time, so we can download and watch it earliest also by friday night or saturday. (see? chronic.)

Eh oops for some reason I thought you were talking about epi 8 in the little synopsis (cos I watched both 8 and 9 in a row hehe and they’re both muddled up in my head now)and when you said Major Hunt was acting as though nothing happened, I was all jumping up and down going “HE SAID SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! IT WAS THE SWEETEST THING EVAHHHH!!” but didn’t want to say anything lest I spoil the next episode but I guess it was all in the same epi you just didn’t mention it but HOW CAN YOU NOT it was the bestest part of that episode :D:D:D

Faye: HAHAHAHAHAH! okay true Major Hunt did say she was beautiful at the end, but to me i was like, BUT THATS SO NOT ENOUGH LAAA, bugger torture her into thinking n wondering why is he acting like nothing ever happened, in the end when he finally opens his mouth all he says is she's beautiful?!?! But true la i guess thats a start. He did appear at her doorstep. :) HAHAHAHA sorry i was too distracted, the highlight of the episode for me was really all about Denny & Izzy, kinda stole Major Hunt's thunder for me :p and i loved it that Christina's like totally giving him a bit of the cold shoulder. Girl power yo.
