Frenchie.
Some short notes,
SIGH what rock have I been living under to NOT know that I can disable further new comments on a blog post? I thought this feature was only available for other blog hosts, kinda like how Livejournal can block readers from viewing private posts without a password, or the Livejournal Cut which (duhh) cuts the length of a post and the continuation can be viewed by clicking on a link.
I swear, sometimes I think I’m still using my old low-tech xanga (no offense, xanga users) but hmm, suddenly Livejournal is looking pretty high-tech right about now, hey. :)
On the topic of incoming stupid comments, I now know I have more control and moderation over them!
I understand that every blogger who gets a decent number of hits will get a nasty anonymous comment or two, it’s inevitable. Especially with a controversial post, no matter how politically correct we made sure it was written, still, inevitable.
But after a week or so and the dust has settled, don’t be stirring up unnecessary nonsense la I malas layan. And I don’t want my hits to shoot up just because these new people are looking for some drama, if there’s no more drama they go create drama
jeezus. Go get a hobby.

On the post on spirituality,
WOW okay I didn’t expect such an overwhelming response :) Thank you so much!
I said I’d try my best to reply your comments but it was really difficult, I tried to start but then I kept getting new comments, some new questions, and some attempted answers to previous questions, which made my replies futile
It was really interesting to read all of your feedback, from different points of view, different religious backgrounds, from believers and non-believers, pure faith and even from logical scientific viewpoints!
As you may already know, there is no one secret answer.
No secret formula, no guaranteed steps or methodology to prove His existence.
Only insights from different viewpoints, a healthy discussion, and VERY interesting opinions from people of all religious backgrounds. I’m so glad I did this.
I mean, not bored ah, listen to what I’ve got to say all the time. I want to hear your voice too mah!
Sorry if I unpleasantly surprised anyone who was expecting a light read but caused you the inability to sleep after that, (*cough* anonymous a.m.y.
)
Just the humble thought, and mere curiousity of God or a Higher Being, was what I was trying to invoke :) I meant you no harm.
Will revert back to my day-to-day silly antics for your light-reading pleasure. But beware, I might surprise you again in the future ;)
(If there are those who still want to put in their thoughts and beliefs on that post, please do :) I’d love to read what you’ve got to say!)
:+:+:
Okay, now for your light reading pleasure,
I had a FANTASTIC weekend, with a Girls’ Day Out with some fellow bloggers (Thanks Nuffnang and Maxis!) which deserves a fuller post and I’ll write about it soon,
but there’s this one little part of it that has me beaming like a child got free candy, smiling from ear-to-ear, and showing it off to whoever that will layan me LOL
I GOT A FRENCH MANICURE!!!!!111!!!
All of us girls got a free mani pedi session and okay confession time I’ve NEVER in my entire life had a manicure or a pedicure professionally done. Huhhh.
Not because I’m a complete jakun la, it’s because I’ve always had a really steady hand (both left and right) and I could do my nails on my own. Save up the cash and I’d rather go shopping than pay someone to paint my nails for me, hehe.
No you don’t understand wei, my skill includes nail art, floral swirly lacey diamante stuff whatever you name it, I could do it.
I even did my own french manicure which turned out nice, but that one was really tough to do on my own, I had to cut out strips of paper, place it on the edge of my nail, and paint out the white french tip to perfection, omg that was alot of work T____T
So this being my first professional manicure done onto me, what more the prettiest most perfect french manicure in the world!!! (Let me exaggerate please, this is my moment)
Literally, I was happy like a child got free candy
*beams*

And she did it with such effortless speed and grace :)
I’m gonna practice on my sister like crazy soon, I don’t care, I must acquire this skill!!
Showed it off to people at dinner after the mani pedi session, and hey not many guys know what a french manicure is!
HOW CAN.
They looked at my fingertips and said, “Not much difference also?”
HOW CANNNN.
The women knew, but some of the men didn’t.
This is an outrage wei, how can people not know the elegance and opulence of a french manicure. Just like how I was outraged when people didn’t know who Fafi was. HOW. FRIGGING. CAN.
:) is ok.
Chris came over to get some notes and I practically shoved my fingertips at his face “LOOK!! Nice ya? I got them yesterday hee.”
And OH HE KNEW what a french manicure was :) Luxanne has taught him well, hehe. Thank lordy lord there is hope for mankind yet.
Google french manicure.
