Sorry for the one-week hiatus!

Had a whole list of things to do after Progress Test 2, which ended on Monday,
but I got caught up doing everything else*but* the list, omggg -_-
Stick with the list, Thia. Stick with the list.

>_<

Last Saturday was the Hennessy Artistry event @ Orange KL

For some reason, I was feeling a bit lazy to attend this one when Shannon initially invited me, his first selling point was “Shayne Ward will be there!”
“…..ew.” i muttered back.
His second selling point, “Oh. And there will be freeflow.”
“Okay I’m there.”

(some pictures off Sarah, Smalls & Huiwen’s facebook)

Surrounded by handshome boys
AndrewKwan, Shannon, Jason, King, Sebastian

Smalls, Huiwen, Audrey, me, Sarah

So packed!

Freeflow it was, alright!
The waiters were walking around serving free drinks in little glasses, yaay :)
But then it got really packed and we soon realised the waiters have stopped making their rounds, either that or they couldn’t reach our table up front, which was far away from the bar. BOO :(

So I dragged Shannon along with me and we made our way to the bar, which of course had to be crowded and I noticed they were all big towering men huddled around the bar, probably getting drinks for their ladies
But I managed to get to the front and order my drinks fairly easy :) they were all men, and so was the bartender.
Before I knew it I got my 2 jugs of alco instead of those little glasses hehe

Shannon shook me head and grinned at me.
It’s become a our little tradition ever since TAG nights, when he used to make me go get drinks at the infamous crowded bar. “You’re a girl. Go mesmerize the bartender!”

Until June.

An unknown band to most of us, they weren’t half bad :)
Their music reminded me a little of The Script

Shayne Ward

You can probably tell I’m not a huge fan of pop music la, :) but tonight he did a few slow ballads version of his pop singles, which was quite refreshing

Pretty in pink

Princess Shan Shan!

AUDREY why are your eyes so big @.@ roar

So there you have it people. It’s not a wig. :)

I had people, phonecalls and comments galore speculating whether or not the black hair was just a wig.
Which had me very amused, so I just kept quiet ;x

:+:+:+:

It was last Sunday night, I remember clearly.

After revising some notes for my P3 Business Analysis paper the next day, I retired to bed at 2.30am; tired, but not particularly sleepy. Mentally I was wide awake.
My mind was rebelliously running around all over the place, despite the stern voices in my head screaming, “GO TO SLEEP! YOU HAVE A TEST TOMORROW GODDAMMIT”

Gawd, it was a riot up there.
My thoughts ran around in circles from breakthrough ideas and inspirations, to reciting business models for the next day’s test, to snapping back to earth with “OMGG GOTOSLEEP GOTOSLEEPPP”

Suffice to say, these mind-riots happen fairly often.
It’s really annoying too because that means I wouldn’t get a good night’s sleep and look like pure hell the next day,
but I supposed I’m used to it.
And on the positive side, I usually do my best thinking at night.
Quite a number of my blog posts were written in my head moments before I drift off to sleep. Or whatever ideas I need for an assignment/project/task, mostly all conjured in the quiet of the night.

Last Sunday night I had a major breakthrough.
It involved consolidating all previous random ideas I’ve had which I casually shrugged off, reason being I simply don’t have the time or resources to implement them.
I’ve tried putting some plans in motion in the past, all of which proved successful and I had a blast experimenting with my interests but unfortunately, at the expense of my studies.
Hence, my parents’ wishes for me to stop Cool Sister’s Closet for now.
Mortified as I was, I can’t blame them though.
Their daughter once a straight-A student back in high school, UPSR, PMR, SPM, whatever you can throw at her, now facing difficulties with ACCA? Blasphemy. Simply unacceptable to the parentals.

But now, thanks to this major breakthrough, my Sunday night mind-riot, I just might be able to resume what I enjoy doing tremendously :)
Will keep it hush-hush for now, don’t want to count my eggs before they hatch
But with the help and support from some people, I’m excited at the prospects of it being even possible. With a set of adjustments and a whole lot of fun :)

Or at the very least, this time I finally put pen to paper, quickly scribbling down all those ideas into a notebook that night. If not now, then perhaps in the near future.
Instead of shrugging them off in disappointment, now at least they seem more… tangible.

:)
