Silly Traveler Chick
I know I have like a million and one other things to blog about,
like the adidas dance/yoga event, the belly dancing performance, the Singapore trip last weekend, and other random stuff in between,
but I really want to *finally* post up the remaining pictures of Melbourne.
Yes, I know that Melbourne trip was 2 freaking months ago, outdated sial. But what can I say! One thing led to another and I kept putting it off
I looked back into my drafts, I wrote a little something about my flight back to KL from Melbourne but never got to publish it.
Warning: 74 pictures ahead. You might want to open this post in a separate window/tab.

I swear, trying not to go overweight with my luggage has to be one of the hardest things to do. EVER!
After giving Faye the bulk of my stuff to bring home first, I thought the rest of my packing would be a breeze.
I didn’t do much shopping during my last week, well maybe I did but VERY minimal I swearrr
But then I also had to buy souvenirs for family and friends back home whut. And *that* part I forgot completely; chocolates and biscuits are bloody heavy.
I only got to packing on the morning of my departure, and started freaking out a little when I realised I was in trouble.
And this was *after* I gave all my stuff to Faye
What happened to packing will be a breeze! How can this be happening! >_<
Sarah lent me her giant green hand-carry bag, bless her soul, and I thought okay, I’ll use this giant bag instead of my own hand-carry, which is a bit smaller.
One thing led to another, and I ended up using BOTH hand-carrys
at maximum capacity. How can this be happening how can this be happening! >_<
Really, I tried to pack efficiently, ie. instead of wasting space and packing the bulky stuff, i’ll WEAR the bulky stuff, ie. my Ugg boots and my thick black trench coat.
And still I ended up using both hand-carrys, my large check-in luggage, sling my laptop bag over one shoulder, sling my handbag over the other shoulder, sling my trench coat over whatever free arm I had, and voila, you get one silly looking traveler chick wearing thick Ugg boots and carrying overwhelming amounts of stuff for her size.

Excuse the messy blankets in the background, but I’m sure you know Shaun’s apartment by now
Oh right, checking in at the airport, i WAS overweight,
So i shuffled some things around and had to take out my large Fred Perry tote hand bag to store in more junk, and hand-carry it onto the plane.
And what do you think would happen to this silly looking traveler chick wearing Ugg boots and carrying way too much stuff?
She leaves something behind. Her trench coat, to be exact. On the plane. *smacks forehead and shoots herself*
And if that’s not bad enough,
She walked to the baggage claim area, and saw someone’s luggage stored in a red container. The luggage zipper had busted open with the insides peeking out, almost spilling out into the red container, and it was going round and round the carousel with no one claiming it.
As luck would have it, the busted luggage had to be hers.
I swear, my life is like a comic skit sometimes. Either that or oh my god why am I so malang T___T

I came back to Malaysia craving for a good bready meal, and I am disappointed totally.
Have reverted back to my bread-hating ways.

We went up to Mt. Dandenong to eat award-winning pies, feed birds, eat scones, and almost fall off a cliff.

Melbourne is so picturesque. No matter where you are there’s always something fascinating to look at. Whether you’re in fancy uptown clubs or dodgy bars, road-trippin’ or simply walking by the street.
I miss the place already. :) and the crazy people I was with over there.
:+:+:
And with that, I’m *finally* done with my Melbourne posts. Sorry it took so long, and so scattered all over the place
