Adidas Dance + Yoga Event
(I didn’t take many photos, because I was busy shaking booty ;) so most pictures snagged off Femmething and Janet‘s facebook!)
Got to drag Kirsty Happyfeet to the event with me on a last minute’s notice. How to say no to dance! ;)
I knew there was a buka puasa makan sesh before the dance & yoga begins, but I didn’t think having dinner right before a workout was a good idea. So I ate before I came and mingled around during buka puasa time
Winners of the adidas/Femmething contest
The sweetie in black is Cathy, she came up to me and told me she won the contest with reference to my blog. Which made me beam like a proud momma
yeay!

Stephanie Chai & Deborah Priya Henry

Sazzy Falak. with eyes to die for

A nice surprise at an all-girls event. Hot emcees Jien & Henry ;)
Someone announced Henry to be a newbie emcee, and all the ladies lapped it up right away la :p
They soon gathered everybody at the main hall where the event started.
The first part was a high tempo hip hop routine led by Baby G. Fun!
But I could tell I was following her hip hop moves with my jazzy style of dance. I always have that problem especially if I’m not dancing in front of a mirror to correct it.
But whatev. It’s all about fun, sweat and exercise, anyway. Not a performance :) *shakes booty*
After that was the yoga session led by Ninie Ahmad.
Neither Kirsty nor I has ever done yoga before, so it was quite intimidating to see this kickass flexible yoga instructor up on stage.
Ninie struck a few yoga-master poses on stage before beginning her session, and I was like “whoaaa what the heck was that, damn cool”
*attempts to mimick her body contortion*

Eh am i doing it right am i doing it right!
Then Ninie started doing things like these:-
Thanks to adidas for such a high-powered fun filled event! For the love of dance, fitness, and all things girl power ;)

Hi Cynthia!
I’m glad you enjoyed the gathering and my session! And that pose you (Pigeon Pose / Eka Pada Kapotasana) did was similar to this http://yogaiswheremyheartis.blogspot.com/2007/01/brighter-than-sunshine.html and I can tell you girl, it is not easy to perform! And since it was your first yoga session EVER, I am very impressed and proud of you!
Not only we have the same adidas jacket (http://theyogainstructordiaries.blogspot.com/2008/04/day-i-had-so-much-fun-at-adidas-sotc.html), you could cause me a run out of lotsa money and endorsement in time too, he hee!
