Tongue in Chic Launch
Much thanks to Joyce for the invitations to the Tongue in Chic launch on Wednesday night @ The Apartment, KLCC 
and congrats on the successful launch!
Like I said earlier, I didn’t take many pictures because, I suppose it was a choice between dutifully taking pictures for a proper event coverage, or running around ooh-and-aah-ing at the sights all around me having fun meeting people and taking advantage of some mad freefloww ;) and I chose the latter, waahahaha

Wah I haven’t done this what-i-wore-today self picture in a really long time
And I almost sold off this polkadot dress (yes it’s a dress I tucked into my skirt),
on Wednesday afternoon itself I put on the dress to take pictures for CSC, with the dilemma of What-am-i-gonna-wear-to-TIC-tonight?! lingering at the back of my mind all day,
and then *ting* I had an idea 
so hehe polkadot dress no longer for sale
dammit-i-cannot-remember, Cyn, Pei-pei, Shervin
I’ve never been to The Apartment @ KLCC, only been to the one @ The Curve.
So when Joyce told me on Wednesday morning that over 340 people RSVP-ed, while I had the size of The Apartment @ The Curve in mind, 
WAH how to fit!
Turns out KLCC’s had an upstairs that was pretty darn spacious.
Huuuge turn out, too, it was a little intimidating at first seeing so many unfamiliar faces, as what Gingey calls them “The artsy fartsy atas people” wth!
Then I started seeing more and more familiar faces, and met some new people along the way :) and don’t forget the freefloww.
So yes, a very very good night for me 
with Ginge!
OOH and he taught me how to do that Jules Richardson Streething beams of ultracool light onto my pictures, using my *own* camera! Waheyy! 
I’ll be doing some silly experimenting from now on ;) hee

I’ve always known our little Miss Malaysia Universe as Su Lin, so it’ll take me awhile to get used to her new name now :/

Ah yes, the dollies.
They had a few walls like these all around the area, each doll was wearing outfits and dresses designed by Malaysian fashion designers and the like.
Their outfits were really cool. It was interesting to study each of them closely and see the detailings, you could tell some of them had a lot of effort put into them!
But I also really liked that most of them had frowny angry faces, so ironic and mysterious.
Later on, I saw a bunch of girls taking down some of the dolls from afar, and I excitedly ran up to them “I thought they were only for display! Can we take and keep them??” *big shiny eyes*
“Oh no you can’t take them! Or just… don’t get caught la.” *stuffs dolls into her bag and scurries off*
TERRIBLE WEI.
Or rather I’m just bloody jealous because I have a bloody conscience -______-
Then later towards the end of the night, the organizers started giving the dolls away! (or what’s left of it)
I reckon so many were already stolen, no point keeping any more lah.
But WTH right! If I knew earlier I would’ve taken em off the walls, so many to choose from over there! Tskk! What laa!

So okay nevermind, say hello to my new little dolly.

She looks like a good little Samaritan :) who’s also Indian, but with very fair skin *shy*
So I shall name her Sammy. The Samaritan (duhh)
But how confusing, I already have a Sammy the Samsung (who died 2 years ago) 
Yay, now my Blythe doll Emily Rose has a new friend to play with :)
Oh, and they were giving out free mini bottles of Beefeater alcohol at the TIC launch party!
I took one politely and put it in my bag, and the organizer girl nearby said, “You’re only taking one? Take more la!” OK IF YOU INSIST!
So I took like 5-6 more bottles and stuffed it in my tiny little clutch (hahaha damn not shy anymore) but Arghhh it wouldn’t fit 
so I had to put back some damn sad wei sighhh why am I such an alcoholic sometimes
And I’m so nice so I gave one bottle to Sammy, you know, after a hard day’s work of doing so much good
I think she really likes it. I’m such a bad influence la

raggamuffin: where got haunting! it’s so pretty ok a little eeriness cant harm nobody ;) and Jody, HAHA long story la. first time we spoke was actually here at the TIC launch, but we concluded that we both look so familiar to each other before this, but cannot figure out where else we’ve seen each other. apparently we dont hang at the same places! :/

Hi, I'm the doll dress-maker for (Theresa) Sammy. She was inspired by Mother Theresa. Hope u like her nurse outfit. She's a Chindian, lol . The lacy skirt & headgear is made from my old baby socks. Just happy to see her in good hands :)
