Won’t be free to work on CSC in the next few weeks/months, well, unless my itchy fingers gets the best of me again :/

p/s: My god I’m a terrible photographer. Was at the Tongue In Chic launch last night, busy running around here there everywhere with my camera strap slung over my wrist but barely did any clicking. Aiyo wei.

So, very briefly I mentioned shopping and WCG in my last post,
was window shopping with sisterDebbie at Mid Valley, because we hardly ever come here to shop,
when I received a text message from Yeehou
“First game we won 10-6, 10-1. Wah quite tapao! If you’re bored or anything, come to MV Exhibition Centre and support us la.”
He’s of course talking about the mini-CS competition held at the Samsung WCG 2008.
The Nuffnang team participated and I heard they’ve been practising at work, WAH best job ever right, get to play computer games at work 
“Eh? I’m at MV now! Shopping around with my sister, will come visit you soon.”
“Eh? SisterDebbie is with you? Bring her up here, I want to meet her!”
LOL.
Wow, so people know her by the internet-nickname now?

That’s the main stage where all major games will be played on the big screen.
Quite the majestic, right.

Now, I’ve never been to any WCG events in the past, mainly because I’m not a gamer myself, neither do I have friends who compete,
but I reckon it’s an event not *only* for gamers
There were many booths around showcasing all sorts of gadgets, games, and prizes to be won. Something for the non-competing public to have fun with ;)

Ok I so would have joined in and played for fun, but there was a long waiting list,
andandand there was a crowd watching so I felt shy to show off my noob skills 
We were watching this little boy play some game, damn cute he was so absorbed with the game his body never moved from that position for quite some time
Then one time his character died, he jumped from his chair and squeaked at me “Aiyak!”
then resumed back to his original stance. Hahaha damn cute wei
And what gadgets n’ games event will be complete without the ladies?

We managed to catch their 2nd match at the Samsung booth, and Debbie patiently explained to me how the game Counterstrike works.
I kept nudging her, Ehh, what’s happening now? Why like that one? Why the fella kena shoot like hell but never die yet? Why the whole screen white one? Who won?
told you I’m super not a gamer.
But I’m proud to say now I know just a little bit more about the game! Quite interesting!
And a bit the kancheong too, the whole time everyone damn muka tension ok quite scary.
I was standing behind Robb, and a couple of times I wanted to jump out from behind him and grab him at the shoulder, “RELAX laaaa!”
But he might give me one tight slap, or die of a heart attack there and then, so eh-heh better not :/
The thought sent Debbie LMAO-ing for awhile. Whaat!

They won the 2nd match, and next up was the finals! Yay Team Nuffnang!
But they won it marginally, so they figured they’d get their butts whooped nicely in the finals. They were right.
Yeehou doesn’t want me to mention the quite-shy score, haha. But hey, at least they got to the finals, right?
