Okay okay hello remember I said I initially wanted to go as an animal but then I heard there would be a lot of other people going as the same animal, well that animal was the peacock.
‘Cause peacocks are shy but vain little exhibitionists and quite suitable to my personality, yuh huh 
but mostly it was easy ’cause I already had the fabulous peacock feathers earrings and a dress to go along with 
So I complained to Boyfriend about my little dilemma.
“Why don’t you go as a hunter? You know, like a poacher.”
“Hunter? It’s not even an animal la, B, please concentrate please-” then about 2 seconds too late the lightbulb finally switched on.
Hunters and poachers live in the wild 
not exactly an animal but it still goes with the theme. AND i’ll be surrounded by prey so that should be fun, mee hee *rubs palms together*
“Omg B, you’re a genius.”
But time was not on my side, I didn’t have much to prepare some outrageous costume, but nevermind! Homemade sikit
SisterDebbie and I made a trip to Toys R’ Us to look for props and OH YA BY THE WAY
let me digress for a bit here
because we haven’t stepped foot into Toys R’ Us for YEARS like definitely the last time was some time in lower high school when we were looking for Tamagotchi and Digimon,
and back in primary school I loved going to that really pink aisle where all the pretty pretty Barbie Dolls were, omg little girl heaven.
And I loved buying those Toys R’ Us blowing bubble thingies, you know those cheap bottles of soap water with a loop on a stick and I can blow bubbles all day 
wah nostalgic sial
But we were really pressed for time so we didn’t stay for long. But I’m definitely going back there one day and reminisce on the good ol days wtf
I was specifically looking for a toy gun for my hunter outfit, you know those black rambo rifle thing damn noisy goes piew piew pieeeww
I asked the sales assistant for the piew piew and he showed me this aisle full of really cool toyguns and rifles galore, complete with sound and laser beams and all that canggih jazz.
And all also 50 bucks and above wtf no way am I spending 50 bucks on a toy gun that I will throw away after the party 
“Nooo, abang ini semua modern and canggih canggih punya tak mau, I nak yang old school punya, yang hitam bunyi piew piew boooom.”
He laughed at me and looked around on the shelves.
“Tak ada la, sekarang mana ada yang old school punya. Sekarang semua macam ini la, mestilah canggih.”
“Aiyo, tak mau la, canggih tak best. Mana lagi tempat nak cari old school punya?”
(can you tell my Malay can significantly deteriorated since SPM days)
“Cuba Jaya Jusco, mungkin ada stock lagi.”
Good point. I’m not sure if Jaya Jusco updates their toy stocks regularly to keep up with modern times.
And true enough, we arrived at Jaya Jusco’s toy departments and saw (pariah) Cindy dolls, Samantha dolls, masak-masak sets, (haha!) all for like really cheap and brandless 
We soon found the toy guns (there were no piew piews, 
) but we found one suitable one that could fit in my handbag haha for only RM9.90
Then I saw another box with like, the whole rambo set! The gun, a bomb (hand grenade), a knife, a walkie talkie hahahah and a microphone thing, omg too cute man the whole set for only RM16.90 !
The perfect mix of old school and DAMN FRIGGIN’ COOL
This being my first time at any Nuffnang party, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the turnout, and most importantly their costumes! Everyone was so sporting!
More than a hundred people showed up fully dressed in the most outrageous wildlife animal outfits, (not as many as 300+ people at the Pajama Party, but still!) it sort of knocked the wind out of me when I arrived at Modesto’s last Saturday.

And I killed a peacock earlier and hung its feathers on my ears to show off my prize *smirks*
I put my knife away when I’m with pretty Shengmae the mouse (I’m a rat!) and Debra the fairy
And I got some remarks that night that I looked like Lara Croft instead of a hunter.
Ya hor. That’s okay, Lara lives in the wild, and she’s hot so I’m okay with that
Aud the Bee, Huiwen the peacock, Thia the tomb raider or something, and Suet the ostrich
I spot Yeehou must immediately take out my rifle, hahahah 
Love her dress with the fan!
When I saw her in this costume I thought to myself, Whoa, confirm win Best Dressed.

Such a nice guy ok, you would think he’d be obligated to run around and mingle with everyone and can’t chat for too long, we ended up talking for quite a bit :) Everyone in the Nuffnang team seems so nice ! ….well, I can think of one exception though.

Hi…came across your blog and wanna ask regarding the white top you are wearing,what kind of bras do you wear? I’m no pervert(am actually a girl) just that every time i feel like wearing those tops i couldn’t really wear it cause i try not to use silicon bra too much(u know the reason why) so i ended up wearing those with bra straps when outing with close friends or during very cincai punya outings.When i have to you know show a bit then i’ll wear silicon bras.
But silicon bras kind of slip off easily after i used it for several times and by removing the bra straps the effect doesn’t look that nice la…but you wore the top so nicely!! U’ve got great body and an angelic face anyway.
A short reply would be very much appreciated.

christina: oh okay well, silicon bras shouldnt slip off easily dear, you gotta keep them clean at all times. But for this event i was wearing a normal strapless bra :)
