Post-Birthday Party.
Continuation of my birthday saga, 
Friday night was my birthday bash with friend-since-wee-primary-school Azan! Who turned 21 three days before i did!
Got the biggest room @ Eastin Hotel, (a.k.a. Executive Suite, heh heh nama glamour )
but turns out perhaps it was still not big enough. A lot of people turned up, heh.
Did the grocery shopping with Zan before the party.
Since we had so many bottles of whiskey and wine for that night, we thought it’d be nice to buy something sweet, to you know, neutralize the bitter whiskey overdose it’d be nice for the ladies as well.
But I could not for the life of me decide whether to buy Kwai Feh lychee liqueur, or Malibu coconut rum.
Frankly, I love Malibu!
But Kwai Feh is yum yum too and I thought not many people would’ve tried it before, and Malibu might be common (gasp!), so heck why not go for a change. I placed a bottle of KF into the trolley.
Butbutbut. I love Malibu! 
oh the big decisions in life.
After a very long, indecisive period of time, and Azan complained about my fickleness, (“oh my god cynthia just pick one”)
We ended up having to one-two-jus for this 
Malibu won.
But in between putting the Malibu into the trolley and walking to the cashier, I managed to change my mind and bought the Kwai Feh.
Fickle little bugger.
Anyways in the end Bryan Chin brought a bottle of Malibu for me, and i am eternally grateful :)
Zan wanted a haircut. He was not a happy customer.

Half the time my camera wasn’t with me so, looking through the pictures was fun :) Quite a lot of surprises, and ermm, even the bits I couldn’t remember clearly
21 YEARS OLD BAYBEH.

It was really nice seeing so many friends in the same room :) all from differing groups.
Some mixed, some didn’t – it’s a lot of work trying to be a good host and making sure I don’t spend too much time with one particular group.
Be the social butterfly and hopefully everyone had fun. I know I did!

Funny story, I walked into the bedroom to make a phonecall and get some fresh air (the main living room was really smoky by then)
I opened the door and there they were – huddled around the side of the bed, lighter in hand – lighting the candles of my surprise birthday cake.
I looked at them and they looked at me, stunned because damn kantoi 
*awkward turtle*
“……oh! Oops, sorry!” and I scurried back into the living room.
Still on the phone and making a wish, before blowing out the candles!
White chocolate macadamia cake from Secret Recipe – MY ABSOULTE FAVOURITE roar
Because i get jelak from too much milk/dark chocolate, and i don’t eat cheesecakes, and i LOVE nuts i go nuts for nuts especially macadamia nuts they are the best 
So Secret Recipe is a genius for making this new cake, almost specialised to suit my fussy tastebuds roar 
I vaguely remember my tipsy self cutting the cake and giving everyone a piece whilst chanting, “It’s the bestest cake in the whole wide world.”

Boyfriend was supposed to pop by around 10pm, but by 11.30 he hasn’t even called 
I called him and this was our frustrating convo.
“B, where you?”
“Babe sorry I was just about to call you. I’m out with some colleagues and they want to go to Zouk….”
Strike one.
“……wha
t.”
“I’m sorry! But you didn’t call me all night…..”
Strike two.
“No, *you* didn’t call me all night. You said you were coming at 10!”
“Yea but, now my colleagues want to go to Zouk!”
“Let them go lah. B, you can’t possibly be choosing Zouk over me.”
“But, I already celebrated with you last week whut……”
Strike three. Oh my fcuking ouch.
The convo was longer than that but that was the jist lah.
My god, I was so furious and wanted to break something or someone wtf but I had to be a good hostess so inhale-exhale-inhale-exhale smile and head over to the drinks table.
Was about to drink my sorrows away wtf (anger and alcohol shouldn’t mix btw)
Until I walked out awhile later and saw him standing at the door, with a bouquet in hand.
roar aiyo melts into mush.
It’s the weekend you see :) I was just happy to see him, even more than I was furious.
And I was really furious. So can you imagine the sheer happiness :) Or perhaps I’m just an easily bought over person, with flowers.
FYI BTW THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE’S DONE THIS TO ME toyed with my feelings like that My God I was about to throw a bitch fit already.
I don’t think my little heart can take it anymore, roar. :)
