:)

There’s a great big obstruction behind my room door
over which I trip and stumble every single time I walk into the room.

You see, I dumped my luggage there late last night when I arrived home from Bangkok,
quick-showered and went straight to bed.
Woke up the next morning to see my luggage had grown into a large heap of bags.
I ran out of luggage space in *my* bag, so I stuffed my excess shopping bags into my mom’s, dad’s and sister’s bags
They must’ve returned them to me last night, while I was asleep.

Still feeling too sick / lazy to unpack, I left the heap there – obstructing the walkway – and I tend to walk into my room without turning the lights on, so I end up tripping over or stubbing my toe into something ouch.

Not bad for a few days worth.

Bangkok was awesome.
Did more shopping than anything else because in the end everyone caught the shopping bug even the boys! Who originally despise shopping! Aha!
Altered quite a bit of our itinerary to suit our shopping needs. And one full day on sight-seeing
I’m so broke and in debt at the same time it’s ridiculous.

Oh, but I fell sick in Bangkok too, boo
Somehow managed to get myself a fever, headache and a sore throat the moment I touched down,
which had me popping panadols every single day to manage the headache.
But putting the pain and the drugs aside, I managed to enjoy my 5-day trip tremendously :)
But maybe I enjoyed myself so much because I was constantly on drugs, hm.

Now that we’re back home, I’m off the painkillers and well, the pain’s coming back again
What a horrible way to celebrate the Chinese New Year aye. Sigh why am i such a sick child, forever also sick.
I wasn’t feeling well enough to join the family for dinner, so mum skipped dinner too and took me to the doctor <3

Meet my new best friends.

I am having a rather strange Chinese New Year this year.

So we touched down in Malaysia at 10pm on the eve of CNY last night, therefore no traditional reunion dinner :(
And no vegetarian first meal today either, on the first day of CNY.
Not that I’m complaining, my family is not your typical traditional Chinese custom-sticking fengshui-following family,
but boo, I always looked forward to our annual steamboat reunion dinners.
And mum says if she were to keep vegetables in the fridge for over 5 days for that vege first meal, they would turn yellow.

But I suppose it’s the family quality time that counts

I woke up this morning and dad gave me my ang pau <3
And we all sat in the living room and watched Chinese New Year specials on TV,
munched on snacks we bought from Thailand, laughed and spoke of our trip to Thailand :)

Will post pictures soon!

Happy Chinese New Year :)
